Located in the sacristy, the church and the chapel of the Christ of the Monastery of Santa Maria the Real (Aguilar de Campoo), it opened its doors in 2006 to offer a new concept of art and culture to tourists.
Among other surprises, the Museum is home to some tombs and wooden replicas from the best Romanesque churches in the area.
The Museum is opened all year round and you can plan a guided tour with our staff.
Camino de los Hidalgos
Aguilar de Campoo accumulates a vast historical and monumental wealth which marked the arrival of aristocracy and gentlemen during the medieval period, such as the marquises of Aguilar.
Known as El Camino de los Hidalgos, in Aguilar de Campoo, we offer a two-hour route to discover the history of these gentlemen, the curiosities of the town, etc.
